“We are writing to thank you for all your efforts in converting our utility room and garage to create a much used and essential sitting room, shower room and garage / utility room. The pitched roof with roof lights means I do not have to worry about re-felting my flat roof and the extra sitting room provides us with additional space which we use a lot.

We are very grateful to you for all your endeavours in providing the manpower materials and firm management to complete this project promptly and with our original budget. As you know we found your tradesmen very helpful, keeping the dust and disturbance to a minimum, in return for the tea and biscuits we provided for them! We were very pleased with how the work was carried out and would like to say that your professionalism was very much appreciated. Extensive Building Work



“We have recently employed the firm of J.D Building and Joinery to carry out extensive building work at our house in Tynemouth.



The work itself took three months and involved all trades i.e. plumbing, joinery, bricklaying, electrics and roofing. All employees of Mr J Dixon were highly skilled and carried out their various trades with the minimum of mess and all made sure that they turned up exactly when they were due to.
Mr J Dixon called every morning to inform us of what was to happen that particular day and all our queries were dealt with immediately. We were kept informed at every step. What we expected would be a stressful time turned out to be not so bad after all due to Mr Dixon’s firm management. The budget was also within the quote agreed upon at the beginning.

We can recommend Mr J Dixon’s firm, without any reservations to anyone who is looking for a first class job done for a reasonable price.”

“On deciding to have our garage converted we obtained three estimates for the work, one of which was from J.D. Joinery, building and Maintenance Services. We found the number in ‘Right up your street’ and Joe replied promptly to our enquiry.



Joe kept us informed at every stage of the conversion from the architect discussing drawings and plans with us and submitting them for approval, to the work beginning.



The arrival each day of builders, plumber, electrician and joiner was well coordinated with the minimum of delay. Joe’s men worked constantly, in very hot weather and were considerate with our property and garden, clearing up during and at the end of each day.



We are extremely pleased with our conversion, only having one slight problem with a radiator which Joe arranged to have sorted quickly. We are very pleased with the quality of workmanship and materials and would highly recommend J.D. Joinery, Building and Maintenance Services.”
